Church membership is a formal commitment between an individual and a local church.

Church membership includes a church body formally affirms an individual’s profession of faith and baptism as credible.

It promises to give oversight to that individual’s discipleship.

The church member formally submits his or her discipleship to the service and authority of this body and its leaders

The governing authority of this Church is vested in its Members and is carried out through the various Oversight Elders who will be affirmed and/or appointed by the Members and who have the responsibility of leading in the midst of this self-governing body according to The Chapel Medina Constitution and associated Bylaws.

Therefore, it is the privilege and responsibility of Members to vote on nominees for the Oversight Elders Council and thereby individually submitting themselves to the leadership of the Oversight Elders Council.

The Chapel Medina membership process includes:

  • Attend a Membership Class to discover what The Chapel Medina believes and about what church membership is

  • Agree with The Chapel Medina Statement of Faith and Membership Covenant

  • Meet with a member of The Chapel Medina Leadership Team to foster a relationship
