Partnering with Parents
We believe the Bible clearly teaches that the family unit- especially parents- is the primary source and center for discipleship in the lives of children and teens. The family ministry at The Chapel Medina aims to partner with parents as they raise their children to love Jesus and with Biblical values.
Children's Ministry Check-In
Kids are checked in, and parents receive a security tag for pick up.
Security tags must be presented for a child to be picked up.
Ministry helpers are vetted, trained, and background checked before serving.
Family Worship
As kids develop, it is important they see adults worshipping Jesus.
Kids kindergarten through fifth grade, after checking in, they will attend the first part of the service with their family and then be dismissed to their classes for age-appropriate biblical teaching. Kids will be picked up at their classrooms after service.
Nursery to 5th Grade
Children’s Ministry Classes are available Sunday mornings during the 9:30 am and 11:00 am service. This time is dedicated through working through the whole story of the Bible over the course of three years.
Kids Midweek
Kids Midweek for kids K-5th takes place Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm during the fall and spring. This time has a special emphasis on Bible memorization, praise songs, and fun games.
